This module applies to Maintenance and Delivery Organisations who are undertaking drainage maintenance within culverts or syphons (e.g. rodding and jetting, debris/silt clearance, etc.).

Purpose

This module helps to mitigate the risk of drainage system failure by informing the work instruction for the maintenance of drainage culverts. This module can also be applied to syphons. It includes both manual and mechanical methods.

This module should be read in conjunction with NR/L2/CIV/005/mod11, Drainage Maintenance and supports the following Maintenance standard jobs:

• 009236 – Drainage – Culvert Maintain Mechanical
