Purpose

This specification sets out the minimum requirements for the assessment of personnel who undertake OLE engineering, isolation and/or switching and object removal activities on Network Rail managed infrastructure. It defines processes that shall be implemented and the standards that shall be achieved to confirm that personnel who undertake OLE engineering, isolation and/or switching and object removal activities are competent to perform the work.
