This Specification has been prepared to supplement the provisions of the relevant European, British & International Standards; and codes of practice for the purchase, quality control and inspection of overhead contact line Clips and Clamps for use on 25kV AC or 25-0-25kV AC Electrified Lines.
This specification applies to the procurement of mechanical clips / clamps, conductor termination clamps, electrical clamps, conductor suspension clamps & support clamps manufactured in both ferrous and non-ferrous material for use in the UK Master Series overhead contact line system.
This specification should be read in conjunction with the relevant standards listed in section 2.
