This competence standard defines the requirements in all circumstances where any person is required to undertake work affecting integrity of DC CRE on Network Rail controlled infrastructure.

This module is to develop the persons understanding of the safety risks and working practices associated with working on DC CRE elements including ramps, conductor rail joints, anchors, insulators and guard boarding and shrouding.

Purpose

The purpose of this competence standard is to define the competence requirements for persons under continuous supervision, that has the potential to affect the integrity of DC Conductor Rail Equipment (CRE). The person is most likely to be in an operative role.
