This competence standard defines the requirements in all circumstances where any person is required to undertake work affecting integrity of DC CRE on Network Rail controlled infrastructure.

This module is designed to train persons working under direction for carrying out work for which they will be responsible, and which has the potential to affect the integrity of DC CRE and associated components, including ramps, conductor rail joints, anchors, insulators and guard boarding and shrouding.

Purpose

The purpose of this competence standard is to define the competence requirements for persons required to undertake installation maintenance or alteration of the DC Conductor Rail Equipment (CRE) and associated components. The person is most likely to be in a technician role.
