For various reasons, an asset renewal may be deferred beyond its ‘need’ date. This business process describes how to prepare, implement and manage measures to control the risks arising from deferred asset renewal.
It applies to all infrastructure asset renewals.
Purpose
This business process mitigates the risks arising from a re-scheduled prioritised renewal or an incomplete delivery of the scope of a renewal.
