This module sets out the process to:

  a) conduct a weekly Section Planning Meeting (SPM) for all disciplines;  

  b) prepare documents and reports for the SPM;  

  c) review:    

     1) the output from the Section Manager’s Control room meeting;    

     2) work done;    

     3) existing plans;    

     4) future work plans;    

     5) asset compliance and productivity.

It applies to Section Managers and Delivery Units.

Purpose

This module provides a standard process to:

a) plan and deliver work;

b) reduce last minute planning practices by enabling sections to confirm their plans as early as practically possible;

c) improve efficiency by planning three weeks at a time only;

d) assign targets for the section to manage their business consistently.
