Purpose

Line blockages are a recognised process to work safety with protection from trains for all aspects of inspection, survey and nonintrusive work activities using the Safe System of Work Process.

This module provides guidance on how to plan using a line blockage register in a safe, efficient and productive manner that aligns with Network Rail compliance and business requirements. This process supports delivery of the business plan in Delivery Units.
