This module specifies the post contract commercial activities for investment projects on the rail network.

This module is part of the Capital Delivery Core Process and relates to NR/L2/P3M/201 and NR/L2/P3M/220.

It applies to projects that require Investment Authority as defined within IR01 Investment Regulations and enhance or renew the operational railway.

Pre-contract commercial administration is undertaken in line with the Contract and Procurement (C&P) Policy and Procurement Management Framework (PMF).

Purpose

The purpose of this module is to describe the Post Contract requirements for commercial process and cost management of projects and to align The Commercial Handbook and C&P Policy with Project Acceleration in a Controlled Environment (PACE). This module enables the business to manage and reduce the risks associated with contract administration and managing public funding.
