This module applies to design authorities undertaking signalling design for Network Rail Infrastructure. It considers the requirements for keeping design logs, both during the development design phase and the detailed design phase.
The design log contains decisions made and by whom during the design phases of a project from earliest conception through to commissioning and handover of the ‘as built’ drawings.
Purpose
The purpose of this module is to specify the format and suggested content of a signalling design log such that it contributes to achieving compliance with CDM and CSM-RA obligations
