The module applies to all users of SORAT-LX software when undertaking signal overrun risk assessments as required by NR/L2/SIG/14201/Mod01. It applies to both the assessment of current operational signals and for new or modified signals or layouts as part of infrastructure change.
Purpose
This module provides information regarding the application of the Signalling Overrun Risk Assessment Tool – Level Crossings (SORAT-LX) to identify suitable mitigations that reduce layout signalling risk So Far As Is Reasonably Practicable (SFAIRP).
