This Module applies to all Projects to alter, or with the potential to affect the fitness for purpose of, Network Rail’s Infrastructure, that meet the selection criteria defined in NR/L3/SIG/10064 NR/GI/T001 (Testing – General) for testing to NR/L2/SIG/30014.

The inclusions and exclusions documented in NR/L2/SIG/30014/A110 also apply to the scope of this Module.

Purpose

This Module is part of the suite of documents contained within the Signalling Works Testing Handbook, NR/L2/SIG/30014, which together detail the requirements for signalling works testing activities.

It provides requirements and guidance on the procedures and process controls for surveillance of Testers on Projects by the Tester in Charge, and actions to be taken where Testers have not been subject to surveillance within the required period.
