These tests may be carried out as part of Trackside Equipment Testing or as a discrete activity in accordance with this Test Specification. The Test Plan shall describe the method selected for verification of the scheme plan.

$ = The use of Test Certificate associated with this Test Specification is not mandated in all cases; it may not be appropriate for smaller scale works. Where the Test Certificate is not used, the Master Test Certificate shall be endorsed "N/A" in the number of sheets column, and the Tester shall the sign for the satisfactory completion of testing directly on the Master Test Certificate.
