Note: The Siemens SIMIS-W application differs from standard fitments in three main ways:

• There is an Interface case (SSB or TEB) between the electronic interlocking and the signal head,

• The signal head contains no transformers or EKR relays and is fed directly with lamp voltages from the interface case,

• There is a safety requirement for continuous earth bonding.
