This document is used in conjunction with NR/L2/TEL/30182 and applies to the design of operational telecommunications sub-access networks for Telecoms, Signalling and Electrification & Power and covers:

a) IP address allocation and management;

b) telecommunications sub-access network management and administration;

c) telecommunications sub-access network design;

d) telecommunications sub-access network asset life cycle; and

e) quality of service (QoS).

It does not apply to:

f) fibre cable design rules; and

g) telecommunications testing and commissioning.
