This module applies to technicians responsible for installing, maintaining and testing stretcher bar assemblies. This module applies to the following stretcher bar assemblies:
a) fixed;
b) adjustable; and
c) tubular
Purpose
This module specifies the method for installing fixed, adjustable and tubular stretcher bar (TSB) assemblies, to the correct length, to achieve the required free wheel clearance to mitigate the risk of flange back contact occurring.
