Concrete shall be produced and placed in accordance with this Section when it is to be used for minor works or when small quantities of concrete are needed.
Mass concrete for applications such as concrete foundations to platform walls, manholes, duct or drain pipe surrounds, and fence post surrounds shall be produced in accordance with this Section.
Where it is necessary for a designed concrete mix to be specified, the concrete shall be in accordance with Section 80: Structural Concrete.
Concrete for ancillary purposes shall be a standard mix in accordance with BS 8500: Part 2.
