This Network Rail standard specifies a defined set of mandated global project codes, global activity codes, milestones and user defined fields (UDFs). These are required to allow projects to be consistently configured, understood and reported across the business.

This Network Rail standard applies to all Infrastructure Investment CAPEX projects unless otherwise agreed between the Asset/Major Project Programme Controller and the Head of Planning and Programme Controls. It is mandatory for all "Active" projects within Investment Projects and Asset Management(Renewals) within the IMS Primavera database.

This standard does not include those codes required to implement the OP interface.

Purpose

This standard forms part of the suite of documents comprising the Planning and Programme Controls standard. The aim of the standard is to outline the minimum mandatory planning requirements with relating to information group fields and the business milestones for the planning of all renewal and enhancement projects.
