This procedure applies to all the MMTs owned and operated by Network Rail Infrastructure Maintenance (IM) and all Network Rail staff. The procedure works in collaboration with applicable standards of any Railway Undertaking (RU) contracted to operate the MMT.

Purpose

This module provides operational safety processes to:

a)  reduce the risk of staff having accidents when boarding the MMT; and

b)  comply with:

   1)  NR/L2/OHS/019; and

   2)  The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
