This procedure applies to those individuals that plan and manage medium-term access to the railway infrastructure. The responsibility for all access planning and delivery transfers to the Area Delivery Planning Manager in Maintenance at QT-38 but requirements for access will be identified by all organisations that do work. This procedure does not define how work is planned, only the possession access associated with that work.

Purpose

This procedure describes the national process and identified responsibilities for medium term access planning, from the formal transfer of the Annual Integrated Work Plan at QT-38 to the issue of the Confirmed Period Possession Plan at T-26.
