Controllers shall if deemed appropriate, arrange for the provision of these facilities in accordance with this instruction.
Purpose
Controllers shall ensure that all services to be operated must be within the terms outlined in the Network Code. Each service must be accepted and agreed by Network Rail before it may operate. The details will be agreed and published in the Working Timetable or by Special Train Notice.
When a major incident has occurred, the provision of facilities for command and control on site are available in the form of mobile office accommodation.
