This procedure applies to all operations staff who undertake safety critical work and those who have responsibility for the rostering and / or management of staff who undertake safety critical work.
PURPOSE
This procedure details the arrangements for managing fatigue and working hours in accordance with Regulation 25 of the Rail and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006 and NR/L2/ERG/003, specifically:
designing and risk assessing working patterns;
working time limits and managing exceedances of working time limits;
monitoring and reviewing working patterns.
