This procedure applies to all employees involved in the planning, execution and checking of Temporary Block Working (TBW) and Emergency Special Working (ESW).
PURPOSE
This procedure sets out the arrangements for pre-planned Temporary Block Working and Emergency Special Working when undertaken in accordance with the Rule Book and Train Signalling Regulations.
The risk of not carrying out these procedures could result in operating irregularities and increased railway undertaking delays occurring.
