This work instruction is applicable to all Load Unit applications submitted by clients to NR VCT for UIC registration.
Purpose
To detail the instructions to implement the processes to be adopted to register load unit designs and ranges of load units (individual and multiple load units) for operation on and between UIC member railway undertakings. This work instruction includes instructions to facilitate the "S" and "C" profile coding and "Group" geometric coding of Swap-bodies.
