This design can be used in a.c., d.c. or non-electrified areas. It is compatible with iron cored impedance bonds of types DD, DE, MR, P3, S and WH3, provided they are resonated using a terminal box housed tuning capacitor. There is a dedicated TI 21 impedance bond type B3 3000 for use in all areas, resonated by a tuning module.
The receiver incorporates a "slow to pick" response, and can therefore be fed directly into a standard 50V line relay.
