This Specification states the requirements for the design, manufacture, and testing of the Advanced SSI Go/No-Go Tester, together with the preparation and supply of associated documentation and manuals. Part-replacements of manufactured Advanced SSI Go/No-Go Tester units must also comply with the requirements of this Specification.

Purpose

This document is the Network Rail Specification for a second-generation SSI (Solid State Interlocking) Go/No-Go Tester hereinafter referred to as the Advanced SSI Go/No-Go Tester.

Aim

This Specification identifies the detailed functionality of the Advanced SSI Go/No-Go Tester. It has been written in such manner that it can also form the basis of a test specification for the prototype and production versions of any tester built subsequently.
