This procedure applies to Network Rail maintenance staff who undertake signalling corrective maintenance or manage staff who undertake corrective maintenance.

For corrective maintenance to Right Side Failures, the process in NR/L3/SIG/SG0054 should be followed.

For corrective maintenance to Wrong Side Failures, the process in NR/L3/SIG/SG0138 should be followed.

Purpose

This document details the process for investigating sufficiently and confirming that the fundamental cause's of Right on Arrival and Repeat failures are found and rectified.
