This standard Project Procedure is mandatory on all method statements covering physical works, or other works that may impose risk to the individual-(e.g. survey work, undertaken on behalf of MP&I) and includes outside party works and asset protection works undertaken by MP&I Enhancements.

Purpose

To improve timescales for acceptance of method statements, and where required, provide an escalation process (supported by risk assessment) for acceptance of late method statements.

To mandate an appropriate surveillance regime

To provide guidance on risk categorization of work sites and the level of acceptance required

Mandate that briefing arrangements are pre-planned

To mandate that any changes/deviations from the specified controls are risk assessed and recorded.
