The procedure applies to the use of all RRVs and RMMMs, referred to as On-Track Plant (OTP) by Maintenance in a T3 possession (refer to GE/RT8000 module T3).
This procedure does not apply to the use of Tampers, Stone Blowers, Ballast Regulators or other On-Track Machines (OTM), which are dealt with by other procedures.
Purpose
This Standard Maintenance Procedure meets the requirements of TM/C 06 and TM/C 04.
This procedure describes how Network Rail undertakes unobtrusive and special monitoring of OTP Operations being undertaken within the maintenance function of Network Rail.
