It describes the controls for Document Change Management of SMP's and how this procedure interfaces with the Standards Development department within Network Rail. This Business Process Document applies to Maintenance Functions within Network Rail involved in the creation, modification or withdrawal of SMP's.

Purpose

This Business Process document describes the arrangements by which Network Rail shall manage its Standardised Maintenance Procedures (SMP's) in respect of their creation, modification or withdrawal.
