This process will normally be used weekly to optimise the quarterly work plan within the defined access plan. This process shall be used as part of the preparation for the T-14 Area/Delivery Unit Weekly Planning Meeting. As this is a new process, no NRSOPs are withdrawn with the introduction of this SMP.

Note that this procedure can also be applied at earlier stages in the planning process where P3 can provide visualisation of the work plan. The process shows transfer of data from both PPS and MIMS into P3. It can equally be used for visualisation of either MIMS or PPS data alone if this assists in the planning process prior to T-14 preparation.

Purpose

This SMP defines the process for transferring data from MIMS and PPS to P3 to allow work to be planned more effectively. It also defines the reverse process for updating MIMS with changes made to the work plan in P3. It does not define the whole planning process.
