This SIN applies to CEN60 S&C installed on concrete bearers where the baseplate fixings are Ss8 (Vossloh-Type) screws. This includes all NR60 Mark 1 and RT60 S&C, with the exception of:

• Balfour Beatty RT60 (BBRT60), with direct fix shoulders throughout

• Corus Cogifer RT60 (CCRT60) with VAPE screws fixing the slide baseplates

• NR60 Mark 2 S&C

Purpose

The purpose of this SIN is to inspect the condition of Vossloh-type baseplate screws fitted in CEN60 S&C on concrete bearers. A number of remedial actions are included dependant on the condition of the assets inspected.
