The scope of this SIN applies to all NR56 JEZ 1:13 angle crossings manufactured since July 2013, as per Appendix D.
This SIN also applies to JEZ 1:13 crossings which may be located off-track as a strategic spare. This SIN does not apply to any other angles of JEZ crossings.
Purpose
The purpose of this Special Inspection Notice is to:
a) Validate the list of assets within Appendix D.
b) Undertake detailed crossing inspection at sites listed in Appendix D.
c) Conduct a risk based review and asset replacement programme.
