This work instruction applies to all persons working on or near to electrical equipment forming part of the conductor rail equipment (CRE), including cables, conductor rails, track isolating and hook switches and any other conductor rail equipment.
Purpose
The purpose of this work instruction is to set out the requirements to ensure that persons working on or near to 3rd rail DC electrified lines carry out their duties without risk of danger to themselves or other persons.
