This code of practice applies to Railtrack Controlled Infrastructure. Within station areas the requirement for lineside security are the responsibility of the Railway Group member in control of the station.

PURPOSE

This code of practice supports Railway Group Standard GC/RT5201 "Lineside Security" by recommending lineside security measures commensurate with the assessed risks posed by the adjacent environment and suggests a method of assessing said risks.
