This procedure applies to the GEOGIS database as a whole, covering the structure of the database including the maintenance of codes and the accessibility and security of the database

This procedure also applies to the data within the GEOGIS database subject to Change Control as defined in Standard RT/CE/S/059 and being within the responsibility of Railtrack Director's Nominee (RDN).

It covers the requirements regarding what data is to be maintained, by whom and in what timescale.

PURPOSE

This procedure gives the requirements for maintaining the GEOGIS database in terms of the availability of the database and the integrity, accuracy, immediacy, and level of detail, of the data contained therein.
