These procedures apply to the use of the model works agreements for new underbridges for, or new overbridges by, outside parties (Railtrack Line Codes of Practice RT/CE/C/018 and RT/CE/C/019).

PURPOSE

To ensure that Works Agreements produced to cover the construction of new bridges by, or for, outside parties are produced in a consistent manner and that they:

a) follow a standard format

b) contain all necessary requirements

c) can be produced without undue time and effort

d) can be readily accepted by the outside party

e) safeguard Railtrack's technical requirements and standards
