This specification applies to trackwork in depots. For the purpose of this specification trackwork shall be as defined in section 3, below.
PURPOSE
To specify the responsibilities for inspection, maintenance and renewal of trackwork at Railtrack-owned depots which are leased to Depot Facility Operators, thereby enabling these responsibilities to be included in lease agreements.
