This Specification details the minimum information that Railtrack requires the Infrastructure Maintenance Contractor to provide for each contract. The Employer's Representative shall define any additional requirements for particular contracts.

Purpose

To plan and programme all work activities which the Infrastructure Maintenance Contractor intends to perform throughout the Contract Year and to provide a basis for monitoring of such works by Railtrack.

It is the means by which the Contractor demonstrates his competence in terms of resource capability, knowledge of Railway Group Standards, Railtrack Company Standards, legislation and other obligations and shows how he will maintain the infrastructure in compliance with those standards and the contract.
