This tutorial is primarily intended for initial TTP training. It is expected that management will provide a training TTP for each new IECC. Ideally this tutorial should be used with this training system.
A new TTP user should NOT use a commissioned live TTP for training without the guidance of an experienced TTP user.
This tutorial may be used as an aid to the experienced, but infrequent user.
On commissioned live systems, users should take care when performing an operation to store new data - this action should not be carried out unless it is intentional.
PURPOSE
This tutorial is a guide to the User Edit facilities available on the Timetable Processor (TTP). It is intended as an introduction to users who have little experience of TTP. Full details of the TTP User Edit facilities are available in the Edit Facilities User Guide, RT/E/P/10025. This document is intended to complement the User Guide; it is recommended that it should be used in conjunction with the User Guide.
Lessons are based on Tyneside IECC data, and cover the most frequently used edit facilities. Each lesson provides a step-by-step guide, consisting of a number of screen layouts, each accompanied by a brief account of the instructions to be typed by the user.
