GO/RT3260 Issue 2 Appendices C and D define the safety critical equipment and activities for which competence certification is required.
Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Practice is to provide guidance to all organisations involved in work on the Network Rail electrification and plant infrastructure, which are required to meet the conditions for safety critical work specified in Railway Group and Network Rail Business Standards.
Sufficient information about types of electrification and plant work, and also systems and equipment, is included to enable selection of appropriate Standards of Competence relevant to any task.
