The standard applies to dc electrified lines using conductor rails. It applies to incidents whereby a conductor rail is displaced from the support insulators with the exception of incidents caused by derailments.
Purpose
This standard is to ensure compliance with the Railway (Notice of Accidents) Order 1986 and that the cause of a conductor rail displacement is established.
