Introduction
The attached "Notes for Guidance - Safety In Or Near The Cess" dated 25 July 1978 were agreed by Chief Officers of the three technical departments to ensure that cable troughing and other works pay regard to the requirements of those whose duties take them along the routes of the cess.
Staff engaged in planning, installation and maintenance of cable routes and other works in the cess shall comply with the requirements of these notes.
