This specification identifies the controls necessary to ensure correlation of signalling infrastructure is adequately carried out including the records which are to be made and retained.
PURPOSE
Correlation of signalling records and equipment and wiring on site is required to:
a) ensure the accuracy of Source Documents prior to any alteration.
b) ensure that records for signalling infrastructure controlled by Railtrack are adequate for maintenance and faulting.
This specification defines how correlation is to be managed by or on behalf of the Infrastructure Controller.
