This specification applies to all high voltage switchgear, except equipment installed in depots and stations which are specified in RT/E/S/40004 ‘Core Maintenance Specification for Non-Traction Electrical Sub-Stations in Depots or Stations'.

Purpose

This specification states the Directorate's minimum periodic maintenance requirements for high voltage switchgear in order to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical distribution system.
