Introduction
This instruction details the electrical testing requirements for Glass Fibre Hollow Section (G.F.H.S) Height Stick/Glass Fibre System Height Pole for use on live overhead line equipment energised at 25kV.
A Height Stick is comprised of a number (set) of poles, approximately 1" in diameter which are hollow.
The L.M.R. Glass Fibre Pole is as above but is resin foamed filled and it is called a System Height Pole.
Reference in this instruction to "the Engineer" means the Area Electrification Engineer/Area Electrification Manager or appropriate authority.
