The Standard applies to all businesses and functions within Network Rail. Specifically it covers: -

• The initial arrangements for implementing the Network Rail Security Manual.

• The process for changing the content

• The review process.

The Manual will contain security requirements and supporting guidance such as the Network Rail Security Programme, security incident response arrangements, sensitive movements and Royal Family rail travel.

Purpose

To mandate the use of the Network Rail Security Manual and to describe the processes that shall be used to control the issue, use and amendment of the content.
