This Notice applies to all level crossing flasher units manufactured to BR901, type PCA1 used at level crossings equipped with red road signals that have been manufactured by either Westinghouse Signals, Westinghouse Semiconductors Ltd. (no longer part of Westinghouse) or Westinghouse Brake & Signal Co..

Purpose

This Notice directs the checking of all BR901 flasher units manufactured by Westinghouse and the action required to be taken when an unmodified unit is found.
