This Special Inspection Notice applies to ‘Corus' supplied RT60 point layouts fitted with Adjustable Stretcher Bars and conventional back drives and operated by either HW, T72 or Style 63 point machines. A list of known affected layouts is given in Appendix A.

Any other RT60 layouts that are installed that would also satisfy these criteria but are not listed should also be checked in accordance with the requirements of this SIN

Purpose

This Special Inspection Notice defines the requirement to examine and carry out remedial actions to ensure Hardlock nuts fitted to Adjustable Stretcher Bars on Corus RT60 layouts remain tight and in place.
