PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF DOCUMENT
The purpose of this document is to provide the information that a project engineer needs for planning the IECC part of a resignalling scheme.
It is assumed that SSI is part of the scheme and the relevant SSI tasks are shown where they have key dependencies with IECC tasks. The documents referenced from the SSI Applications Manua[1l] must be used to make detailed plans for the SSI work and it is not intended to supplant these documents.
The main exclusions are the trackside signalling work and any civil engineering or permanent way works involved as these are outside of the scope of this guide.
